Core Workshop 1A
Our mental health needs to take top priority as we navigate through an altered workplace around the world. Join global speaker, clinician, and executive coach Jeanie Y. Chang, LMFT, CCTP as she provides a deep dive on psychoeducation to understand mental health and its intersectionality on one’s self-identity. Gain insight into the diverse narratives; particularly surrounding the Asian identity which has shifted in the pandemic amidst anti-Asian racism and xenophobic hate crimes.
Now more than ever we need to understand our cultural identity and the social constructs surrounding it such as the model minority myth and its impact on Asian mental health. Adverse and changing times globally are propelling us to embrace cultural confidence®, an intentional practice empowering us toward strong cultural identity. The key takeaway in this session is acknowledging that grasping our own narrative strengthens our mental health for optimal wellbeing in the workplace and beyond.

The power, purpose, and practice of mindfulness is a “brain changer.” That’s according to research showing how the brain can be trained and re-trained to change your life. Through this live workshop by global speaker, clinician, and executive coach Jeanie Y. Chang, LMFT, CCTP realize the meaningful impact of incorporating both Eastern and Western mindfulness techniques to foster personal self-growth and recognize purpose and meaning in the present moment. Gain insight on what self-compassion looks like as an active practice. In addition, learn key mindfulness skills for heightened attunement in your feelings and thoughts for healthy emotionality.
Core Workshop 3
Emotional, social, and psychological sustainability is vital now, more than ever, in a shifted workplace culture. In times of change, we need to understand how to build stress resilience in preventing burnout for sustainable wellness. Learn to acknowledge anxiety mindfully to gain insight on managing distress in order to de-stress. Be solution-focused for daily mental health hygiene through applicable skills and techniques. Stress resilience is about being proactive, not reactive in time of adversity and transition.
