Jeanie Y. Chang

LMFT, CMHIMP, CCTP

Jeanie Chang is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Founder of Your Change Provider, PLLC, a therapeutic practice founded on solutions and Cultural Confidence® in promoting good mental health and wellness. Jeanie’s clinical expertise extends well outside the therapy room. She is an accomplished national speaker for corporate, community, and colleges on topics such as burnout, resilience, mindfulness, stress, workplace wellness, and mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, and suicidality.  Jeanie is also a corporate wellness consultant, executive leadership advisor, and family/parenting coach.  In addition, she provides support groups for leaders in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Jeanie founded the national “Self-Care & Wellness” program which she created for business leaders and professionals. Currently, she is spearheading the curriculum-based program for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) as “Self-Care & Wellness By NAAAP” and for the Council of Korean Americans (CKA) under the title, “Building Resilient Leaders.  In addition, she is working with college administrators in curating mental health programing to support students on campuses nationwide.  Furthermore, Jeanie co-hosts a parenting podcast called “Raising Asian Teens: Resist the Roar!” and a videocast titled “Mental Health Mukbang.”

Jeanie is a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with experience in grief and trauma. In addition, Jeanie holds specialized training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Jeanie followed a calling in mental health after a diverse career path. She first started as a broadcast journalist in Washington, DC, then went on to attend business school.  Her work in the corporate sector includes marketing, public relations, and client success management.

Jeanie is an active volunteer in the Asian American community. She is the National Director of Self-Care & Wellness by NAAAP, President of the NAAAP NC Chapter, and is a facilitator for student veterans at Wake Technical Community College.  In addition, Jeanie enjoys serving as a clinical advisor for Asian American mental health organizations around the country that focus on addressing mental health stigma and helping adolescents and families.

For her own self-care, Jeanie loves going on date nights with her husband of 22 years, enjoys spending time outdoors with her four children ages 13-20, and planning family vacations.
